Saputo Dairy UK Announces a Price Floor Until 1 July 2020

Saputo Dairy UK (SDUK) announces today that it will move the milk price it pays to its Davidstow farmers to 287ppl* from 1 March 2020. This has been agreed upon with Dairy Crest Direct (DCD). “As conditions in the UK cheddar market remain challenging, we have made the difficult decision to reduce our milk price,”  said Chris Thomson, Group Procurement Director at Saputo Dairy UK.
