  • Description

    Crudgington produces Dairy Crest's Clover and Willow brands, as well as Country Life butter.

    The site began life as a small cheese creamery in 1933 and produced cheese until the 1960s when it was refitted to manufacture butter and milk powder. In 1979 further modernisation allowed it to extend its butter making and packing facilities.

  • Description

    The Group Technical Department ensures that Dairy Crest meets all its legal obligations for Health and Safety, Environmental regulations, Food Quality, Safety and Hygiene. It also has a prominent role with the major retailers, managing technical issues about company products, maintaining the database of product information (specifications) and ensuring legal compliance on product labels. The Consumer Care Department which deals with all consumer complaints and queries is also based at the Technical Centre.

    The Manufacturing Support side of the Department provides specialist knowledge and expertise to assist in problem solving and delivering cost effective solutions to meet business needs throughout manufacture and distribution.

    The Group's NPD facility is also housed within the Technical Centre.
