    Chard has a long tradition of dairy activity with butter making first taking place in the early 1900's. Located in Somerset and adjacent to the River Axe, the site is currently producing a range of alcoholic butters, creams and sauces for the Christmas market. Retail powders are also processed and packed.

    An investment of £6m is currently underway, this will create a specialist centre for the processing and packing of cultured and fresh creams.
