    The Group Technical Department ensures that Dairy Crest meets all its legal obligations for Health and Safety, Environmental regulations, Food Quality, Safety and Hygiene. It also has a prominent role with the major retailers, managing technical issues about company products, maintaining the database of product information (specifications) and ensuring legal compliance on product labels.

    The Manufacturing Support side of the Department provides specialist knowledge and expertise to assist in problem solving and delivering cost effective solutions to meet business needs throughout manufacture and distribution.

    The Group's NPD facility is also housed within the Technical Centre.
